Meet Your Coach

At a very young age, Julia began finding herself in situations involving public speaking and presentations. Throughout her adolescence, she quickly found herself always being interviewed at school or leading the group presentation in class.

While a student at the University of Maine Julia’s ventures in public speaking continued to evolve. After placing 1st Runner Up in her first pageant in 2019, Julia returned to the Miss Maine USA stage for the 2020 pageant and won the title. After having the longest reign in Miss Maine USA history spanning over 19 months, she stepped away from the pageant industry to complete her graduate degree with a thesis focusing on the meaning of competing in pageants for women in the 21st century.

Julia's time in pageantry allowed her to perfect her public speaking and interview skills and have the opportunity to mentor others. She has served on countless hiring committees and was formerly a hiring manager. This passion for mentorship is a part of Julia’s personal and professional life. Whether she is overseeing over 30 undergraduate student leaders or mentoring graduate students - she believes in helping others reach their fullest potential.

Julia knows the importance of clear and polished communication skills in academia, pageantry, and the private sector. In late 2022 Julia decided to expand from pageant coaching and enter the industry where her true passion and natural abilities lie: public speaking, presenting, and interviewing.

Throughout her time in the interview and public speaking coaching industry, Julia has helped clients land faculty teaching positions, prepare for dissertation and thesis oral defenses, earn promotions, and much more.
